Late August is one of the most beautiful times to discover Mechelse Heide.

For this Sunday Vacations escape, we're heading into the heathlands for a relaxed afternoon hike, surrounded by nature and the colours of late summer with plenty of time to talk, take photos and meet new people along the way.

And we're deliberately starting later than a typical hike.

Why? Because we want to experience the landscape as the afternoon light softens into golden hour, before finishing our adventure around sunset. 🌅
